Have used this product many times to download high def pics, mp3s, etc.So versatile and speedy--very pleased.
Compared to some things out on the marketplace, that's a complement.Only issue is there is no xD slot. Nothing to complain about as it works great. Since I have an Olympus underwater camera, I'm stuck with xD on that device.
This card reader is able to handle all of the cards we have from a variety of digital cameras and cell phones. Makes downloading images a breeze.
It is very fast and handled my 4 GB & 8GB SDHC cards without any issues. This unit started right up after automatically loading the drivers. I like that it uses a standard USB cable so that I can just plug it in to the same cable I use for my pda when the PDA is not plugged in.
Unfortunately, my Sony camera was dropped & broken a few days later, so I haven't been able to see the sony mem stick capabilities. And I love, love, love not having to eject the dang device every time.Download speed seems comparable to downloading directly from the camera, and it's also easy to use it to copy things onto an SD card for digital picture frames or the like.Smaller than I expected it to be, too, which is a small plus. I bought this in order to simplify dealing w/ multiple cameras. But the support for other cards is solid.Takes a little getting used to, because it takes up 5 device letters (f:, g:, h:, i:, and j: for me), but windows keeps that fairly intuitive by popping up the correct drive when you put a card in one of the 5 slots.
